CONTEMPORARY FLOORWORK WITH ALYSSA

"Contemporary Floorwork focuses on building strength, flow and dynamics within floorwork. The class will start with warm up exercises that will prepare you for moving in and out of the floor, before building onto longer phrases that will encourage groove and freedom within, inspired by Alyssa's personal practice as a professional contemporary artist. There will be opportunities to learn inversions and freezes. Options for all movement will be offered, so this class is appropriate for all levels. 

Alyssa is a North-East based dance artist, working within performance and facilitation. Within performance, she has worked nationally with Rendez-Vous Dance, Fertile Ground and Level Centre amongst others. Within her facilitation practice, she teaches regularly across the region in a variety of settings, teaches professional class at Dance City, DANE and Gateway Studio, and is the North East Dance Ambassador for Matthew Bourne's New Adventures."
